Hamanasu Park Beach

The waves are especially calm, so it’s a good beach for families with young children. One of the attractions is that you can have BBQ’s along the beach (during swimming season only). There is also a 1,400 meter long promenade.

Important points

An AED Machine (Automated External Defibrillator) is installed in the administration building.
Camping on the beach is prohibited.
Please remove tents and tarps before sunset.

Access	Walk: 10 mins. walk from JR Mitsumatsu Station. Car: 20 mins. drive by car from Oi-Takahama IC on Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway.

Hamanasu Park Beach Designated BBQ Area

At Hamanasu Park Beach, you can enjoy BBQ’s on the beach (during swimming season only). All BBQ equipment and ingredients must be brought in yourselves and cannot be reserved. Please remember to take your garbage with you when you leave.
