Wakasa Wada Beach
Crystal-clear shallow waters , white sandy beaches and rows of beach huts; it is no wonder why Wakasa Wada Beach is the most popular beach in Takahama. In 2016 it became Asia’s first beach to be awarded Blue Flag status, a testament to it’s dedication to maintaining safety and beauty.
On Saturdays and Sundays during swimming season first-aid staff are on duty at the first-aid station. There are barrier-free shower rooms, toilets and changing rooms, and special beach wheelchairs which we lend out for free.
At all beaches in Takahama, we encourage children to wear life jackets for safety. Life jackets can be rented (for a charge) at beach huts.

Hamanasu BBQ Park
BBQ facility right on the beach. There are 12 lots with a tent, table, benches and stove and 28 lots with only a stove. Reservation is required.

Matsubara Barbecue House
A large roofed barbecue building that can accommodate 160 people, located close to the beach. There are 21 tables with a stove for 8 people and benches. Reservation is required.

Camp site on the beach with facilities such as a kitchen, lighting and parking.
